They say never forget your roots, however big you grow. A tree grows and spreads it’s branches, but it well never forget it’s roots. In similar way, Rakshit Shetty has grown into a big person in Kannada film industry. He has become a big brand himself in Sandalwood. He has got large number of fans, who just watch his films. If anyone associates with him now, they succeed. That is the minimum guarantee tag, which Rakshit Shetty is carrying now.

Rakshit was impressed with the script of “Huliraya”, that he backed the project. There is no doubt of that. But according to sources, the main reason why Rakshit decided to distribute the film was the film's director Aravind Kaushik.

And now Rakshit Shetty is investing his hard earned money in other Kannada projects. As we all know, he is co producing his next film, “Avane Srimannarayana”, in which he is also acting in lead role. Along with this, he is supporting new talents. He is a co producer in “Humble Politician Nograj”, which stars popular comedian Danish Sait. And now, he is turning distributor with another film. He will be distributing the much hyped “Huliraya”.

The news has been confirmed now. Rakshit Shetty had few days back said that the film is a must watch and will make Sandalwood proud. Impressed with the way film has been made and presented, he will be distributing the film along with Pushkar Films. With Rakshit Shetty associating with the film, “Huliraya”, which had literally no star power, it has got a big support. The film is scheduled to release in August.

Rakshit was impressed with the script of “Huliraya”, that he backed the project. There is no doubt of that. But according to sources, the main reason why Rakshit decided to distribute the film was the film’s director Aravind Kaushik. As we all know, Rakshit made his tinsel town debut with a supporting role in “Nam Areal Ondina”, which was directed by Aravind Kaushik. The film did not do well in box office. Aravind Kaushik was impressed with Rakshit’s dedication and cast him again as lead in “Tughlak”. The film met with same fate.

Rakshit has not forgotten his mentor. Aravind chose Rakshit, when most of the people in industry said he had no future. When his mentor’s film needed a push, he decided it is right time to support his mentor. It’s a great moment for Rakshit Shetty to help his mentor.

A close friend of Rakshit Shetty, who does not want his name to be revealed said, “Rakshit always helps everyone. He has a very helpful nature. He has struggled a lot to reach this level. He knows the pain of struggle. Therefore he is always there for everyone who has talent. He loves cinema and wants to take Kannada films to another level. He will support anyone who is talented and will be an asset to Kannada cinema. Therefore we see him supporting so many short films. And him backing “Huliraya” is mixture of good content film and Aravind Kaushik. As Aravind supported him during his hard time, Rakshit helped him now.”

” Rakshit is a producers actor. After “Ulidavaru Kandanthe” failed, it’s producer Hemanth went to the extent of blaming Rakshit Shetty in media. Rakshit did not react to this. After the debacle of “Ulidavaru Kandanthe”, he was paid Rs 10 lacs for “Vaastu Prakara” as acting fee, which he gave to producers of “Ulidavaru Kandanthe”,” he added.

It is also being said in Gandhinagar circles, that after success of “Kirik Party”, Rakshit Shetty paid the remaining amount of losses to producers of “Ulidavaru Kandanthe”. Nowadays, when people make money, they do not even care about others. But Rakshit has proved, that not only reel life, he is Karna(character played in “Kirik Party”), but he is the real Karna in this Kaliyuga. Tuluvas are proud of Rakshit Shetty.
