B.S. Yeddyurappa’s PA gets anticipatory bail

N.R. Santosh, personal assistant of BJP State president B.S. Yeddyurappa, who was the prime suspect in an attempt to kidnap case, obtained anticipatory bail from a sessions court .

Santosh is the prime suspect in the case of attempt to kidnap Vinay Bidre, the personal assistant of Opposition Leader in the Legislative Council K.S. Eshwarappa in May. A case was registered at Mahalakshmi Layout police station.

Santosh is expected to appear before the police to regularise the bail. The police have so far arrested a gang of six persons who confessed that they had attempted to kidnap Vinay on the behest of Santosh. In July, the police went to Yedyurappa’s house to search for Santosh.
